We stopped by Grandma Dona's for a visit yesterday, and my mom, McKenzie and I painted gords for Halloween. McKenzie loved it! She used a marker to draw a face on her calico pumpkin - and I thought she did pretty well. The face has eyes, nose, a mouth with little teeth, ears and legs! So cute!
After we visited and had lunch, McKenzie got to feed the horses some apples and carrots - which kind of scared her a little. Then we drove home over Butterfield Canyon into Middle Canyon, which was beautiful. (We had to get it in one more time just in case the storm this weekend closes it down until spring. Aww) We found a bunch of wild turkeys, and McKenzie was able to find some all by herself, too. Little Allison was content and the perfect baby. What a nice day!
